James Craig plays an overworked and volatile NASA scientist, who is forced to take a much-needed vacation when the pressures of his job become too much to bear. He decides to fill his idle time pursuing his interest in botany, and heads off to the countryside of Japan for some peace and quiet. There he becomes obsessed with combining two types of carnivorous plants to create a new species - with dire consequences for everyone, should he succeed.

Rarely seen and mostly unheard-of, The Revenge Of Dr. X is a modern Frankenstein's monster tale, written by none other than the legendary Edward D. Wood Jr. With opening credits that have nothing to do with the movie itself, shameless over-acting and breathless dialogue, any "bad movie" fan will find plenty here to love.
