Supersonic, an advanced alien from a distant galaxy, is sent to Earth to save mankind from the evil Dr. Gulik, who plans to control the world by satellite. The last piece of Gulik's diabolical plan is hidden in the research of Professor Morgan, so the Doctor kidnaps the Professor, then threatens to kill his daughter Patricia if he does not surrender the information. Unfortunately for Gulik, Supersonic has taken quite a liking to Patricia: every time Gulik's goons are about to grab her, Supersonic shows up to save the day - while wining and dining her when disguised as a mere mortal! Gulik's only hope is to capture and destroy Supersonic - easier said than done!

An obvious rip-off of Superman, the producers of Supersonic Man had considerably fewer resources to work with... but one can admire their enthusiasm. Supersonic's dime-store costume is less than 'super', but there's a huge robot with a nasty built-in flamethrower, an evil underground fortress, and explosions aplenty. Also count on lame attempts at humor, a romantic subplot to slow down the proceedings, and a fiery climax in which the evil Doctor gets his comeuppance!
