Sandy was a typical young woman, making ends meet as a cocktail waitress in Las Vegas, and dreaming of the future with her Prince Charming - a handsome singer at the club where she works. When the crooner uses her, then dumps her, Sandy is driven to attempted suicide. Her friend Libby, a dancer at the club, rescues her, then offers her an escape from her despair: entry into an exclusive all-female group. Sandy goes along, and finds herself on a remote desert ranch, inhabited by women who lead a wild, lawless existence. No men are allowed, and trespassers are dealt with savagely... especially if they are male. The group funds itself by running drugs across the Mexican border, engaging in wild orgies of debauchery and drunken violence along the way. As their activities become increasingly more brazen and lethal, Sandy searches for a way out - but it may already be too late!

Directed by trash king Al Adamson (Satan's Sadists, Blood Of Ghastly Horror), The Female Bunch is an entertaining exercise in vintage subversive cinema. Also notable is the presence of Lon Chaney, Jr. in his final film role.
