It has long been believed absinthe is an hallucinogen but this is based on unsound evidence and sketchy claims. Few descriptions of these hallucinations exist from actual absinthe drinkers beyond a few quotes from poets after a long night of drinking. We tested real Absinthe at the November Fire compound, and cannot remember if hallucinations were observed. We just call it the devils water now.
